Tutorial on how to manually configure internet settings on your mobile phone with all the network provider in Nigeria:

Step by step guide on how to manually configure your mobile phone to start surfing the internet.
I received any email recently and the guy need manual internet configuration for etisalat. I have thus decided to share it once again for all interested persons to help them configure their cell phone with mtn, airtel, glo and etisalat to start browsing the internet. Also configuring Java phone is different from symbian, so i have explain it a little bit for all hotnigerianews.com readers and friends.


HOW TO MANUALLY CONFIGURE YOUR NOKIA JAVA/s40 MOBILE PHONE
step 1. Goto your phone Settings =>> Configuration =>> Personal Configuration =>> Add New =>> Web.

Step 2 . Insert the settings shown below in the required fields depending on your network provider. (i.e. If your network provider is MTN, Insert MTN Settings below. Do likewise for glo. Etc)

MANUAL INTERNET SETTINGS FOR YOUR NOKIA SYMBIAN MOBILE PHONE
step 1. On your Symbian Phone Goto Tools =>> Settings =>> Connection =>> Access points =>>Options =>> New access point.

Step 2. Insert the internet settings given below in the required fields provided, using your network provider. Just like for java phone configuration, if your network provider is Mtn, use mtn settings below, if it is etisalat, then etisalat settings you must use.

Use the below code to configure your mobile phone with airtel ng network

- Access Point or APN: internet.ng.zain.com

ETISALAT MANUAL INTERNET CONFIGURATION SETTINGS
Etisalat Subscribers can manually configure their mobile phone to surf the internet with the codes below:
- Account Name: ETISALAT

http://mobile.etisalat.com.ng
- Username: wap
- Password: wap
- Access Point or APN: etisalat
- IP / Proxy Address: 010.071.170.005

use the settings below to manually configure your mobile phone and start browsing with glo.
