How to share MTN data with friends
Follow the simple step below and you can easily transfer data bundle to any mtn sim card, so, long they are in Nigeria.
Step 1. Subscribe and Activate any Mtn Data Plan.
Step 2. Dial *131*2*1# or text REG to 131; to register for MTN Data Share, you will receive a unique security PIN. when you received your pin, you are required to change the system generated PIN to a new PINthat you can easily remember but hard for others.
To change the unique security pin sent to you, dial *131*2*5# or by SMS Change OLD_PIN NEW_PIN NEW_PIN to 131.
Here is an example of the sMs to send (Change 0000 1234 to 131), without bracket please. Where 0000 is the old PIN and 1234 is your new PIN.
Step 3. After you have successfully change your PIN, you are required to add beneficiaries to your MTN shared Data Bundle account via USSD menu *131*2*3# or by texting Add to 131. You can add up to 5 beneficiaries.
Once you have successfully added the beneficiaries, you been the (sponsor) will be able to share your available mtn data bundle among the added beneficiaries by sending the keyword Share to 131 or simply dial USSD code *131*2*4#. No Need for Multiple Subscription again as Far as your Friends are on MTN Network.
Now this is awesome, if you have lots of MB on your mtn sim and it is about to expire, you can share it with your friends and families.
