We have been fully informed that sending text message in Nigeria will cost 4 Naira flat! Yes you heard me, we can now send sms to any network in Nigeria for just N4. Read the full story below.
The Nigeria Communication Commission, (NCC) on Thursday, 24th January 2013 announced that anyone who is subscribed to a Nigerian network must not be charged more than 4 Naira for sending text message to other networks. Very soon, there will be no more looking for how to send free text message using mtn, glo, airtel or etisalat.
With this new development, you can now send text message from MTN to Airtel or any other network for just 4Naira!!
According to the NCC Director, 5th of February 2013, has been said to be date when this policy will be implemented. Josephine Amuwa, the Director, Legal and Regulatory Services of the Commission said that they had agreed that text message should cost N1.09 in 2009.
We hope this come true (it will definitely come true, i believe), then we can start enjoy almost free text message in Nigeria.
