 Tecno-Mobile is one of the best and popular smartphone player in Nigeria and without mincing words, it is one of the cheapest android smartphones (with warranty) in Nigeria.
 As at the time of writing this report,  BBM only supports mobile phones with Android 4.0 and above, (take note of this if you are planning to buy an Android Phone that is compatible with BBM), you will need to buy an Ice-Cream Sandwich 4.0 and above android smartphone.

* Tecno L3: Is another smartphone worth having. With android 4.0 ICS valued at 13k500 NGN. The L3 is also a 3.5″ smartphone with the BBM functionality.

 you need a VPN to get started, i know a lot of you alread know what a VPN is? good, lets continue. we will be using the OpenVPN GUI for this. Download openVPN GUI from HERE
 After downloading the File sotware, Install it on your PC. Then proceed to download config files which will help you ti select a Server to use. Download the Zip File HERE

After downloading the config files, Unzip it to get a Folder 'NaijacliqVPN'. Copy the Files and then follow this steps :
Go to your Computer---> Local Disc ---> Program Files---> OpenVPN ---> Config... Paste the files in the config Folder. then open your Modem with your MTN sim card with 0.00 naira, configure your modem as indicate below:
 APN: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8
Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4
Then click on connect.

 After it must have connect, Run your OpenVPN GUI. (Windows 7 and above users should run as Administrator) After running the OpenVPN GUI, you will see the OpenVPN icon in the icon bar at the right bottom of your PC. Right click on it, you will then see the Servers. Choose any of it and Connect...

You are ready to start downloading and surfing for free with your MTN Sim with 0.00 kobo!

How To Root Tecno Phantom A+ F7 and N9 Pad

Very Important Notice: Before Rooting your android device ensure you totally cancels the warranty placed on your device to avoid killing your phone.

step 1. ON your Tecno Phantom, go to Settings > Applications > Development. Note: if you don’t see the developers option on your phone, go to settings>about phone when you are there taping the build number for like 8 times then go back and check if the Developer option is showing on the first setting>applications>development

step 2. Click or Tab on the development icon and switch it on and switch to USB debugging option (Please don’t do anything else except the USB debugging) if you touch anything else, you are on your own... make sure you read this twice to understand the steps...

step 3. Then connect Your Tecno Phantom A+ F7 or N9 to your computer, the system will recognize your device and then select USB storage or media device on your android device when it pops up.

step 4. After the computer recognize your techno device, run the Eroot (which you download above) and it should display the name of your phone such as Tecno F7 or N9 just like the below image. ignore the other writings written in Chinese. unless you can speak Chinese!
